Platform Strategy
Translating technical vision into platform direction, operating models, executive modernization conversations, and roadmaps that connect architecture to business outcomes.
Experience
My career has moved from college radio and frontline service into business systems, healthcare technology, fintech product ownership, API strategy, platform consulting, music, and founder-led product development.
Professional proof
My work has moved through practical environments where systems had to function, people had to align, and ideas had to become usable outcomes.
Professional summary
I work at the intersection of product management, architecture, and platform strategy. My experience spans API ecosystems, data products, event-driven microservices, developer experience, cloud-native platforms, stakeholder management, and cross-functional delivery.
The common thread is translation: turning messy, real-world constraints into working systems, turning complex technical ideas into product direction, and aligning teams around outcomes that need to scale, adapt, and earn trust.
Core capabilities
Translating technical vision into platform direction, operating models, executive modernization conversations, and roadmaps that connect architecture to business outcomes.
Working across API design, data products, developer experience, service ecosystems, and product ownership.
Aligning product, engineering, operations, customers, stakeholders, and leadership around shared outcomes.
Building systems and strategies around reliability, accountability, evidence, controls, and customer trust.
Timeline
At Eckerd College, I became General Manager of WECX at a point when the radio station was not functioning. The work became an early lesson in systems ownership: diagnose the problem, find people with the right expertise, modernize the operating model, and create something others could actually use.
At Thoughtworks, I have worked across platform strategy, technical product management, API strategy, and consulting environments where business goals, technical architecture, delivery practices, and stakeholder alignment all need to come together.
In this role, I support product and technology direction for a mission-driven organization, where technical decisions need to respect community, trust, stewardship, and long-term sustainability.
At Bottomline Technologies, I worked in product ownership and API product management within a fintech environment where integrations, customer needs, product delivery, and technical execution had to align.
At UNOS, I worked in a product and technical service ownership capacity in a high-stakes healthcare technology environment, where clarity, reliability, coordination, and service accountability were essential.
At West Creek, I worked as a Business System Analyst, building experience at the intersection of business operations, systems analysis, requirements, stakeholders, and technology delivery.
Before moving fully into technology, I worked in hospitality leadership. That experience shaped how I think about service, operations, pressure, people, and the real-world systems behind customer experience.
Music has been one of the longest-running threads in my life. As a jazz guitarist, my voice draws from Hindustani music, Arabic melodies, avant-garde jazz, free improvisation, early American music, rock, soul, R&B, and bebop.
